Job title: Senior Stores Operative
About The Role
To ensure all material and parts are controlled and managed in an organised and efficient manner within the stores area. Working closely with the Stores Supervisor to ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to & monitored. Ensure Daily Checks are completed on all equipment and facilities requests raised for repairs or improvements.

Responsibilities
* Adhering to company safety policies and procedures, at all times
* Goods inwards – load, verify against paperwork and verify quality
* Stock management – ensure stock is put away in applicable section of stores
* Despatch – accurately pick goods for fabrication, site, assembly or spares
* Maintain target 5S standards for the work area and identify and implement improvements
* Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use
* Stock counting – assist with routine physical stock count and check stock levels on request
Other
* To adhere to CDE policy and practice
* To protect the confidentiality of all information and data held privately
* To carry out other duties within reason and capability associated with this role
Skills & Qualifications
Required Criteria
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
* Attentive to detail
Desired Criteria
* NVQ level 3 Qualification in Warehousing/Stores
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
* Aisle Master or Bendi truck experience
* Material picking using handheld scanners
