Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight – On Site
Salary: Up to £70,000, based on skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Digital Engineering Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our radar technology. Your responsibilities will include:
*
Leveraging your technical expertise in the Digital and Electronic domain for complex Radar designs.
*
Leading and mentoring a talented Digital Engineering team.
* Overseeing the learning and development of Digital Electronic Engineers within the Radar product area.
* Acting as a subject matter expert in Electronic Engineering.
*
Coordinating Digital Engineering estimates to support bidding activities and cost assessments.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* A degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
* A solid grasp of the digital design process, including requirements generation, design, and implementation, with knowledge of complex digital PCB design and FPGAs.
* Ability to specify and communicate effectively with specialists in digital, analogue, RF, and electrical domains.
* Experience throughout the entire design process, from requirements to design assurance and sign-off.
* Proven leadership skills in team development, mentoring, and resource forecasting.
Desirable:
* Experience in a defence or high safety integrity environment.
