Part-time & Full time (up to 35.5 hours per week) including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins
Salary £23,678.20 up to £24,957.92 per annum (£13.01 per hour, up to £13.52 per hour), pro rata for part time hours. Sleep-ins paid at the rate of £77.50 per session. Overtime regularly available.
It is a genuine occupational requirement for some of the people we employ to be female to support people with their personal care. We therefore welcome applications from females for the position of Support Worker as permitted under Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Role Responsibilities
* Enable, encourage and support people according to their support plans to maintain skills in all aspects of daily living and achieve desired outcomes (e.g., personal care, making choices, actively participating in running their home).
* Support people within the local community and beyond: attend appointments, take part in social and leisure activities, and help maintain relationships with friends and family.
* Maintain accurate records and use basic computer skills.
* Prioritise tasks, show initiative, and interact with a variety of people.
* Undergo full training and receive regular supervision to develop skills and progress in career.
