This warm and welcoming school is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The setting supports 45+ pupils aged 11 to 16 and offers a tailored 1:1 education in a calm, nurturing environment. It provides facilities including an on-site kitchen, a fully equipped music room and an outdoor space with a trim trail and on-site Forest School.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. Full training will be provided and you will have immediate access to free and fully funded qualifications. This school and team are invested in the futures of both staff and learners.
Responsibilities
* Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
* Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole-class basis
Qualifications
* Relevant SEN experience
* Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
