About the Role
As a Quality Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be embedded within aerospace and defence manufacturing environments working with cutting-edge technologies and systems that support mission‑critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure manufacturing processes meet conformance requirements and align with industry standards.
* Apply ISO 9001 : 2015 quality frameworks to support certification and compliance.
* Support cleanroom operations including calibration and enforcing cleaning protocols.
* Investigate and resolve non‑conformance issues driving corrective and preventative actions.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain aerospace‑quality standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across aerospace manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Quality Engineering within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 standards and quality management systems.
* Hands‑on experience working in cleanrooms and with calibration processes.
* Strong ability to develop and enforce cleaning protocols.
* Excellent problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills for handling non‑conformance issues.
Desirable Skills
* Familiarity with QMS tools and continuous improvement methods.
* Having satellite experience within a quality engineering environment.
* Background in manufacturing within aerospace.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
