About the Role
The L&D Content Creator plays a key role within our Transformation and Learning function, responsible for designing and delivering best‐in‐class learning content across a wide range of formats and platforms.
Working closely with subject matter experts and L&D colleagues, you will translate complex information into engaging, learner‐centred content that drives measurable improvements in learning outcomes. With a strong focus on quality, accessibility and customer experience, you'll help ensure our learning provision supports colleagues across the organisation to perform at their best.

What You'll Be Doing
* Design and develop engaging learning content, including e‐learning modules, videos, facilitator guides, job aids and microlearning assets
* Translate complex or technical information into clear, concise and learner‐friendly content
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, validate and structure content
* Apply instructional design principles to create effective, learner‐centred learning experiences
* Create scripts, storyboards and visual concepts for digital and blended learning solutions
* Produce and edit multimedia content (video, audio and graphics) using relevant tools
* Ensure learning materials align with organisational branding, tone of voice and accessibility standards
* Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, delivering to agreed timelines and requirements
* Review and update existing learning content to ensure accuracy, relevance and effectiveness
* Incorporate stakeholder and learner feedback to continuously improve content quality
* Support the rollout of learning programmes alongside L&D colleagues and designers
* Upload and maintain learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
* Maintain accurate documentation and content cataloguing in line with L&D processes
* Work collaboratively with other L&D Content Creators and the wider Transformation & Learning team
* Ensure all activity aligns with safeguarding, compliance and organisational standards
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven experience creating learning content across multiple formats (e‐learning, video, audio, virtual/classroom delivery, webinars or podcasts)
* Proficiency in e‐learning authoring and design tools such as Articulate Storyline & Rise, Vyond, Synthesia, Camtasia and Envato
* Experience using Learning Management Systems, including uploading and managing SCORM and other content formats
* Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
* Solid understanding of instructional design principles (e.g. ADDIE, adult learning theory)
* Ability to design assessments and evaluation methods
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
* Customer‐focused mindset with a proven track record of high‐quality service delivery
* Professional, proactive and self‐motivated approach to work
Desirable
* Experience working within education, care or similarly regulated environments
* CIPD qualification or equivalent L&D experience
* Experience supporting large or geographically dispersed organisations
