Teaching Assistant (Level 2) - KS2 Classroom Support - Bolton

Veritas Education is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Bolton. This role involves supporting learning across a Key Stage 2 classroom, working alongside the class teacher to help pupils engage, progress, and feel confident in their learning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting pupils during whole-class teaching, group activities, and independent work
* Assisting with targeted support for pupils who may need additional guidance
* Helping to prepare resources and contribute to a positive, well-organised learning environment
* Encouraging pupils confidence, participation, and positive attitudes towards learning
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team
We welcome applicants who bring:
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2
* A patient, encouraging approach and the ability to build positive relationships
* Confidence supporting learning routines and classroom expectations
Safeguarding & Application Requirements: All applicants will undergo an Enhanced DBS Check, reference checks, and-if relevant-overseas police clearances in line with safeguarding policies.Employment history for the past 10 years should be provided, including explanations for any gaps.Applicants need to have the legal right to work in the UK and be available for a registration interview.
