The central L&D team provides a wide range of development initiatives - from business systems training to personal and professional development programmes - to support staff across all locations.
Role Overview:
The L&D Manager for Business Systems Engagement will work closely with the Head of L&D to lead the team responsible for delivering training and development related to business systems across the firm.
This role involves managing a team of L&D Officers, overseeing the learning strategy for business systems, and ensuring successful adoption and usage of key platforms across all office locations. It also includes project-managing learning components of system implementations, updates, and enhancements. The role includes responsibility for the Induction Programme for lateral hires and ensuring effective onboarding experiences.
This is a dynamic, hands-on position that includes design and delivery of learning interventions, stakeholder engagement, and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Business Systems Engagement L&D team, including coaching, development, and performance management.
* Project manage L&D's involvement in firmwide system upgrades, new implementations, and system refreshes - with delivery responsibilities as required.
* Design and deliver high-quality business systems learning interventions in collaboration with the wider L&D team.
* Oversee and contribute to the induction and onboarding programme for lateral hires.
* Build strong stakeholder relationships across the firm to support learning initiatives.
* Lead on training requirements linked to mergers and acquisitions.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, HR, Law) OR equivalent professional experience.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent L&D certification.
* Project Management qualification desirable.
* Experience leading teams in a multi-site L&D environment.
* Strong understanding of L&D best practices and operational delivery.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong analytical capability, able to use L&D data to inform learning strategy and execution.
