Senior Oncology Staff Nurse

Up to £48,000 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital you’ll be attentive, driven, detail‑oriented and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. With post‑registration experience you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
* Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
* Be proficient in phlebotomy cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
* Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse‑led service
* Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments such as immunotherapy
* Fully assess each patient’s needs providing tailored treatment plans and care
* Administer systemic anti‑cancer therapies (SACT)
* Assist consultants during clinics
* Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
* Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)
