As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor at RPS, you will lead and manage a regional clinical team who run day to day clinical operations (typically 60% clinical work 40% management) motivating, inspiring, and leading by example, escalating where necessary. You will deliver consultations covering fitness for work, absence management, and employee assistance programmes. You will be passionate and focused on solving problems that matter. Responsibilities
 * Lead and manage a regional clinical team delivering day-to-day clinical operations (approximately 60% clinical work and 40% management), motivating the team and escalating where necessary.
 * Oversee the full remit of Occupational Health including case management, Fitness for Work assessments, and health surveillance.
 * Monitor staff performance and utilisation to help the business achieve financial targets, support staff recruitment, and implement performance management.
 * Client account management and providing both clinical and operational advice to RPS customers.
 * Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of RPS and identify business development opportunities.
 * Act as the Senior for a team of Occupational Health Advisors and contribute as a key member of the Occupational Health business.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Experienced in delivering Occupational Health services to a wide cross section of business sectors with great efficiency.
 * Continuous professional development to maintain NMC registration.
 * People management experience and strong leadership skills.
 * Experience of working with large stakeholder groups and communicating at all levels.
 * Independent & autonomous Senior Occupational Health Advisor with good teamwork and communication/relationship-building skills.
 * Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite; Registered General Nurse with a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health at Certificate, Diploma, or Degree level.
 * Hold a current UK driving licence.

This is a full-time, permanent post based in Hull. The RPS Occupational Health team is a group of clinicians that promote and maintain good workplace health through risk-based health surveillance, wellbeing, health screening and case management. The team includes qualified Occupational Health Nurses, Doctors, Technicians and Advisors. We emphasise quality over quantity, limiting case management assessments to six per day for manageable workloads and superior service, boosting staff morale and retention.
