This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about the outdoors, land management and conservation to play a key role in supporting both the estate and student learning. ✨ About the Role As a Land-Based / Countryside Technician, you will support the maintenance and development of the college's land-based facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional and provide an excellent learning environment. You will work across a variety of outdoor settings, assisting with practical activities and helping students gain real-world experience in countryside management. Key Responsibilities Support the maintenance of land-based areas including woodlands, paddocks and green spaces Assist with practical land management tasks such as fencing, grounds maintenance and habitat work Maintain tools, machinery and equipment to a high standard Support teaching staff with practical sessions and student activities Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for lessons Contribute to the upkeep and development of outdoor learning environments Support college events and practical demonstrations where required About You You will be a practical and proactive individual who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions. You'll have a genuine interest in countryside management, conservation or land-based industries, alongside a willingness to support students and share your knowledge.
