Trainer in Plumbing & Heating (on-site)
Within the range of £27,702 to £41,895 per annum (pro rata if part‑time)
*Starting salary subject to college salary assessment process
35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Responsibilities
* Support delivery and assessment of high‑quality apprenticeship training to aspiring professionals.
* Guide learners through practical and theoretical aspects of plumbing and domestic heating systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and apprenticeship requirements.
* Encourage, motivate and inspire learners, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate with other trainers and staff to enhance the programme and share best practice.
* Travel between Suffolk New College campuses as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Industry experience in Plumbing and Heating.
* Desire and ability to encourage, motivate and inspire people.
* Experience in a Trainer role or similar is desirable, but not essential; a training and development programme will be provided to support transition into education.
