What’s happening?
Weber Shandwick London is looking for a talented Social Media Associate to join our Digital team. This client-facing role will expose you to a varied client portfolio and play a key part in delivering high-profile communications campaigns across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a key team member to support cross-channel social and digital marketing for multiple client engagements.
* Liaise with clients and assist in client communications, including developing and coordinating routine account management materials such as timelines, documentation and project management support.
* Draft and manage cross-functional team briefs, partnering with creative, design and media relations team members on social and digital projects and integrated deliverables.
* Support digital and social content production from concept to execution, including social editorial calendar creation and social media advert mockups.
* Manage social content publishing models for clients, including educating clients on content creation and paid promotion on social and digital platforms.
* Collaborate with traditional and digital media teams on interactive elements of social media engagement campaigns.
* Keep pace with social media and digital industry trends and developments.
* Serve as a role model to team members, producing high‑quality work and consistently updating managers on activity progress.
* Contribute to inclusive team culture and display behaviors that support integration.
* Leverage understanding of client business to share ideas that help grow the account organically.
* Participate in meetings to support new business development and organic growth opportunities, capturing notes, recaps, research and tracking.
* Maintain budget tracking, invoicing, fee trackers and purchase orders, ensuring accurate time entry and business health.
* Continuously update knowledge of clients’ business and industry trends.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a social media and/or digital role.
* Excellent project management, digital and social media skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in at least three specialist areas – social listening, paid social, paid search, display advertising, SEO, organic content creation, influencer management, and social/digital strategy development.
* Demonstrated ability to liaise across cross‑functional teams and manage client expectations.
* Proactive learning attitude and ability to adapt to new tools and platforms.
