Religious Education Teacher: Permanent Position, Merton About the Role: Our client, a reputable secondary school located in Merton, is seeking a qualified Religious Education Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced educator to contribute to a thriving RE department and inspire students with a passion for religious studies. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Developing and implementing creative and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the RE curriculum. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current educational trends and developments in religious education. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience teaching RE at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for RE. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
