About The Role: Days of Working: working five over seven days, with weekend availability. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our catering team. This vital role supports the smooth running of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety. As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries using stock rotation methods. Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and delivery areas, including sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning duties. Assisting with basic food preparation, such as vegetable prep, when required. Ensuring compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards at all times. Monitoring and reporting stock levels of cleaning chemicals and supplies. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Must have Right to Work in the UK An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate. Ability to work independently and complete tasks from start to finish using initiative. Strong team player with a commitment to high standards and customer service. Willingness to follow policies and procedures, especially regarding health and safety. Basic communication skills and the ability to handle simple paperwork. Flexible and open to participating in training and development opportunities.
