The Urology Clinical Support Team is extremely busy and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is committed, demonstrates loyalty and is prepared to work hard when necessary to get things done.
This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to support the team, deliver excellent patient care, and develop your career within the Trust.
Main duties of the job
* Provide professional, efficient and confidential secretarial support within the Urology team.
* Communicate effectively with team members and colleagues.
* Maintain and develop high standards of administration and record keeping.
* Take responsibility for personal development and support the development of the Service.
* Conduct oneself in a professional manner and act as a role model at all times.
* Provide day‑to‑day administrative support when required for the department.
Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy.
* NVQ in Administration level 3.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages.
Experience
* Appropriate experience in a hospital or office environment.
* Previous experience of dealing with members of the public.
* Good command and understanding of English, punctuation and grammar.
* Experience of using own initiative, prioritising workload and utilising organisational skills.
* Knowledge and experience of 18‑week RTT pathway.
* Working experience of TRAK/EPR/PACS/Infoflex.

* Ability to deal with complex situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Acts as a role model and leads by example to reinforce the Trust’s values and behaviours throughout their area of practice.
