Staff for Education are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work at Secondary School in the South Normanton area to start after February half-term 2026. This is a full time, long-term role that will be ongoing until further notice. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for students. Your main responsibilities will include: •Managing student behaviour in line with the school policies •Delivering pre-planned lessons to the class when a teacher is absent •Providing clear instructions to the students to ensure they understand the work set and their learning objectives •Providing support and guidance to students when needed •Collecting in students work at the end of the lesson to give to the relevant member of staff •Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the relevant person at the school In order to be considered for the role, you must: •Have experience working in a school setting •Strong classroom management skills •Have excellent communication skills •Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one •Have a passion for working with young people Working for Staff for Education is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a flexible work-life balance as it gives you the choice of the number of days per week that you would like to work and if you would like to work o...
