My client has a vacancy for a Finance Manager to join its thriving business to take a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of its business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a team of five across finance and debt management, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and forward-looking financial insight to support strategic decision-making. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role following the departure of their long-standing Finance Manager.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
6. Financial Control & Month-End
7. Regulatory & Compliance functions
8. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
9. Cashflow & Operational Finance
10. Management Information & Bonus Calculations
11. Lead, develop, and motivate a team of five
The skills and experience you’ll have include:
12. Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role
13. Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with FCA regulations (highly desirable)
14. Proficiency in Sage accounting software
15. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills
16. Experience producing management accounts, forecasts, and board-level reporting
17. Strong leadership abilities with team management experience
18. AAT Level 4 qualified, with progression towards CIMA or ACCA desirable
19. High integrity, attention to detail, and proactive approach
