We're working closely with a lovely special primary school based in Bristol that is looking for a teacher to join from the start of the summer term. The school caters to a range of special needs & disabilities, with a focus on SEMH & ASD students (aged 4-11).
The school is a supportive community proud of the important and rewarding work they do, despite its challenges.
The role
The class is a KS1 class with 8 students, supported by 2 permanent TAs. The role can be flexible regarding responsibilities: you can choose to lead the class with pre-planned cover or take on a full teaching role involving planning & marking — both options are available!
It is essential that you have experience working with SEMH students, are confident managing challenging behaviour, and preferably hold a QTS.
