Job Title: Senior Family Help Worker

Salary: £39,152 to £42,839
Location: Lincolnshire, Family Help Team bases across the county

Overview
As a Senior Family Help Worker, you will lead and support frontline Family Help Workers, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based interventions that build resilience and prevent needs from escalating.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and guidance to Family Help Workers and supervise practice.
* Mentor and develop staff; facilitate professional development.
* Coordinate with social work teams, schools, health services, and community partners to deliver integrated support.
* Manage risk and support vulnerable individuals through collaborative partner agency work.
* Travel and work flexibly; ensure accessibility in office and provide some home working where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
* Professional qualification in Youth Work (JNC Recognised) or Social Work.
* Diploma or Qualification in Careers Guidance or Level 4 in Guidance.
* Diploma/Level 4 qualification relevant to working with children, young people and families.
* Two years post‑qualification experience.
* Strong leadership, people management and mentoring skills.
* Knowledge of child development, adolescent risk‑taking and trauma‑informed approaches.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and practice improvement.
