Payroll Senior
* Annual Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience)

REED Practice are excited to be working with a highly respected Accountancy Practice in their search for a Payroll Senior. This role is perfect for someone with extensive payroll experience, looking to lead and enhance payroll operations within a professional setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Process client payrolls, including BACS payments, starters, leavers, holiday pay, and pension deductions.
* Maintain strong client relationships, addressing payroll and employment queries promptly.
* Ensure legislative compliance through regular checks.
* Manage HMRC communications and documentation (e.g., P45s, P60s).
* Oversee auto-enrolment and maintain pension records and payments.
* Handle RTI submissions, CIS returns, and PAYE schemes.
* Keep accurate records and update timesheets promptly.
* Supervise and train payroll administrators, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experienced in end-to-end payroll within accountancy practices
* Strong knowledge of tax and payroll regulations
* Proficient in Iris; Sage experience beneficial
* CIPP qualification preferred but not essential
* Skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and numeracy
* Detail-oriented with high data accuracy
* Able to manage deadlines independently and collaboratively
* Strong leadership and client-focused mindset
