We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Head of Learning for our A Level and Applied Sciences Pathway. The responsibilities of the role are focused on support and leadership for the curriculum area, focusing on securing consistently effective teaching and learning which leads to excellent outcomes for our students. The postholder will engage in collaborative leadership designed to secure the achievement of the College’s strategic priorities. The right candidate will also have demonstrable experience in managing exceptional standards of teaching, learning and assessment for learners, supporting them to achieve at the highest possible levels and progress. The postholder should have a proven track record of excellent teaching and learning, ideally in either Sociology, Criminology, or Law at GCSE and A Level. As Deputy Head of Learning, you will be responsible for leading and managing staff, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery, and supporting students to achieve at the highest level. You will work closely with the Head of Learning and other managers to drive excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
