1-2-1 Teaching Assistant. St Nicholas First School, Codsall. St Nicholas First School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1 - 2 - 1 Teaching Assistant to join our Early years team initially. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children's early learning journey within our supportive school community, part of Codsall Multi Academy Trust. The Role at a Glance Position Early Years 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant Location St Nicholas First School, Reception class Salary Grade 4, Point 6: £25,989 (FTE) Actual Salary £19,824 per annum Hours 32.5 hours per week, Term Time only including Teacher training days Contract Fixed Term attached to EHCP funding (12 months initial contract) Start Date Tuesday 1 st September 2026 About the Role As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in our Nursery, you will: Support children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities that inspire curiosity and creativity Work collaboratively with our experienced Early Years team to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment Help children develop their social, emotional, and academic skills during these crucial early years Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure every child thrives Contribute to planning and assessment to meet individual children's needs This role offers the perfect opportunity to be part of a child's first steps in their educational journey, making a lasting impact on their future success.
