The Role

Neerigen Brook Primary School is seeking a motivated and passionate School Psychologist to join our Student Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking school community committed to achieving positive wellbeing and educational outcomes for all students.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with school leadership, staff, students, families, community and interagency partners applying expertise in mental health, learning, human development, behaviour and school systems. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, consult broadly, and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

The successful applicant will work closely with the leadership team and Student Services staff, joining a community of innovative and passionate educators dedicated to inclusive and equitable practice. You will workwith students, families, and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds providing both indirect (consultative) and direct student services .

The successful applicant will have experience supporting students with complex support needs and be skilled in maintaining consistent and clear communication between key stakeholders while navigating differing priorities. You will contribute to the implementation and continuation of clear case management processes and draw on knowledge of change management models to strengthen systems and practices within the school. Contemporary knowledge and experience in trauma informed practice and supporting diverse student needs in a school setting is essential, including the capacity to provide whole-staff and small-group professional learning to build staff capability and confidence.
