Key Responsibilities
* Delivers all work to contract specs, timelines, budgets, and HSEQ standards.
* Provides mechanical support during commissioning (filters, pumps, etc.).
* Flags variations and issues to the Commissioning Manager.
* Keeps mechanical tools clean and ready for use.
* Coordinates with commissioning leads, engineers, and operations teams.
* Follows and applies maintenance routines per OEM and plant requirements.
* Updates and maintains records in PAMELA/CMMS systems.
* Plans and performs scheduled maintenance, including materials, manpower, and parts.
* Diagnoses equipment faults and takes corrective action with commissioning/shift teams.
* Completes field maintenance and logs all work, providing regular progress updates.
* Collects required samples (water, oil, waste, IBA, etc.).
Qualifications
* Mid-level experience in mechanical maintenance, commissioning, or industrial plant operations.
* Demonstrable experience in a maintenance role in Energy from waste, Power Plants or other heavy industry settings.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, filters, and rotating equipment.
* Knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements.
* Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent.
* Good communicator and can present ideas effectively.
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
* Flexibility, ability to travel and work shift pattern or site hours.
* Manage Client & Stakeholder interface.
