Compliance Officer - Insurance London (Hybrid) The purpose of this position is to support the Head of Compliance & Risk in advising the business and delivering key legal and regulatory obligations while operating as the SMCR SME and lead on projects to implement additional regulatory requirements. Duties Work with the Head of Compliance & Risk to implement, embed and provide ongoing monitoring of regulatory developments. Help manage the SMCR Framework. Guide and assist the business in delivering the correct outcomes. Conduct horizon scanning. Draft and maintain policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to collaborate with the broader businesses. Deliver compliance training to the business. Complete allocated tasks outlined in the Annual Compliance Plan. Assist the team in managing the notification of data incidents and breaches. Experience Experience working in an insurance intermediary or insurance company. In-depth understanding of the insurance market and placing process is necessary. In-depth understanding of the FCA handbook Experience with US surplus lines business is preferred but not essential; Maintaining a positive attitude and self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills Knowledge of Microsoft products.
