Employment Solicitor (Locum), 6+ PQE, South Yorkshire, c. £55-£60 per hour.
Overview:
1. The firm is seeking a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE and substantial experience in employment law, managing both respondent and claimant matters.
2. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders, while delivering a high standard of client care.
3. The appointed locum will advise on a broad spectrum of employment issues, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and TUPE, as well as drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
4. The role will also involve representing clients at Employment Tribunal hearings, providing strategic HR and employment advice, and undertaking negotiations and mediations.
5. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising a trainee solicitor as part of their duties.
6. In addition, the firm provides dedicated secretarial support to assist with managing your caseload efficiently.
