Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wythenshawe that supports students at risk of exclusion or those with complex behavioural needs. We are seeking a resilient and nurturing Behaviour Mentor to support young learners in small-group and one-to-one settings.
Role Overview:
* Provide emotional and behavioural support to students aged 11–16
* Build strong relationships based on trust and consistency
* De-escalate challenging situations and support restorative practices
* Work alongside pastoral staff, SEN teams and external agencies
Person Specification:
* Previous experience in a youth work, PRU, SEN or SEMH setting is essential
* Calm, patient, and assertive under pressure
* A trauma-informed approach to behaviour and safeguarding
* Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
