This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Social Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £13.26 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Ty Iscoed Residential Home is looking for a Casual Care Assistants to provide care and support for older adults. You will be required to carry out duties to support residents in a dignified and respectful manner, promoting independence and wellbeing and adopt a person centred approach. Experience of working with older people would be beneficial although not essential.
You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity and choice. You must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, possess clear understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of the post and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals.
A requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
Ability and willingness to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
