This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone passionate about working with young people. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task. No planning or marking is required, making this an ideal stepping stone into teaching or a long-term career in education. The Role: Supervise lessons across a variety of subjects Deliver pre-prepared work set by the classroom teacher Manage behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Support students with questions and tasks during the lesson Follow school policies and work closely with teaching staff Provide additional classroom support when required About You: Confident, adaptable, and able to manage classroom behaviour Experience working with young people (youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, childcare, etc.) is desirable Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and assertive A passion for education and supporting young people Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Work With Tradewind Recruitment?
