Role Description
To provide administration of the Finance department's suite of Reporting, Planning and Business Intelligence systems (Oracle Hyperion Essbase / Oracle Financials / IBM Certent Disclosure Management / IBM Clarity7 Planning & Forecasting). The role holder will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of those systems and fielding system administration queries.
The role requires a good understanding of Finance processes and some technical knowledge is also expected. The applicant should be able to demonstrate a technical ability in some field and an ability to analyse and problem solve process and system related issues. The role holder should have a basic understanding of Information Technology knowledge areas such as networking, storage, databases, security, etc.
Whilst the role is primarily focussed on delivering support for BAU activities, the post holder will have the opportunity to be involved in delivery of any new initiatives, system implementations and upgrades.
