We’re looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join a lively secondary school in Barnet this September. You’ll inspire students to explore their creativity, develop performance skills, and appreciate music from all genres and cultures.
With dedicated music facilities and a strong commitment to the arts, this school is the perfect stage for your teaching talents.
Your role will include:
1. Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional)
2. Leading practical lessons in performance, composition, and music theory
3. Supporting extracurricular music groups, concerts, and school productions
4. Encouraging students to explore music as both an art and a skill
We’d love to hear from you if you:
5. Hold QTS and have experience teaching Music in UK secondary schools
6. Can inspire confidence in students of all musical abilities
7. Have strong instrumental, vocal, or composition skills
8. Enjoy fostering a positive and inclusive musical environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
