Family Safeguarding Social Worker
Somerset Council is looking for a qualified social worker to support families and children in Somerset through the Family Safeguarding model.
Responsibilities
As we roll out the Family Safeguarding model, you will:
* Work alongside adult-focused practitioners to inform assessments and plans in substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health specialisms.
* Provide direct support to children, young people, parents and wider family networks, using Family Group Conferencing and other tools to build strengths and address challenges.
* Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for innovative, creativity-driven service delivery.
* Receive regular reflective group and personal supervision from permanent Team Managers.
Qualifications and Experience
You must be:
* A qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
* Passionate about relationship-based social work, able to reflect and think creatively.
* Experienced in working with children and families within social work.

Salary
£37,280 to £41,771 per annum.
