Ad Monetization Manager (Ad Operations Executive)
£60,000 + bonus | London (Hybrid, 2–3 days in office)
A fast‑growing mobile/AdTech scale‑up is looking for a Ad Monetization Manager to own and optimise in‑app ad revenue across its Mobile content products (news, short‑form video, games).
The role
You’ll sit in the Monetization team and be the go‑to person for:
* Yield optimisation
* Monitoring CPMs, fill rate, bid density and revenue per user
* Tweaking price floors, auction rules and partner setups to increase yield
* Supporting revenue forecasting and modelling
* Monetization analytics
* Building and maintaining dashboards and reports
* Investigating revenue drops, anomalies and partner performance issues
* Turning data into clear, actionable recommendations for Product and Commercial teams
* Ad operations & platform management
* Hands‑on configuration and optimisation in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and AdMob
* Supporting SDK bidding, mediation and new partner integrations
* QA and troubleshooting monetization issues in production
* Experimentation & product collaboration
* Designing and analysing A/B tests on formats, placements and pricing
* Balancing user experience vs. revenue impact
* Feeding monetization insight into the product roadmap
You’ll be working closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Commercial, with plenty of scope to shape how the apps make money from ads.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has 3+ years’ experience in mobile app or digital monetization (publisher side)
* Is strong in Google Ad Manager (GAM) – setup, reporting, troubleshooting, optimisation
* Understands programmatic advertising, SDK bidding and mediation (e.g. AdMob, MAX, ironSource, etc.), RTB, PMP
* Is comfortable working with data (dashboards, cohort/placement analysis, experimentation)
* Has an analytical, investigative mindset and enjoys solving monetization issues
* Is curious about using AI tools to speed up analysis, reporting and operations (nice to have, not essential)
