Job description
We are looking for volunteers to help in our charity shop 2-3 hours a week with hours to suit.
To help with till work, sorting donations, processing, pricing of stock, window display, customer service. Full training and on-going training will be provided.
Our charity shop is an important part of our fundraising and enables the charity to maintain its vital service to distressed children.
Volunteering in our charity shop will provide you with an opportunity in general retail duties. Donations are sorted on a daily basis, so the pricing and stocking of donations will be a prominent part of the role. There will be the opportunity of till work, and training will be given.
If you have good people skills, organisational and communication skills, are enthusiastic and have an eye for detail, are trustworthy, reliable patient and flexible, are able to use own initiative and are creative, are able to work well in a team, we welcome your application.
Volunteering in our charity shop will provide you with many valuable transferable skills and if you need a reference we can provide this.
Completion of an application form and character references are required.
