Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing dynamic organisation. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Business Development team.
The role is dedicated to re-engaging lapsed or dormant clients from our existing database - relationships we’ve built over time that have since become inactive but still hold high potential. The BDR will work strategically through a pre-defined book of past clients, known contacts, and previous leads, aiming to rekindle conversations, identify new needs, and qualify opportunities. Once clients are re-engaged, they will be passed to the Business Development Manager (BDM) team for further engagement and conversion.
Job Requirements
* Experience in a Business Development role, ideally within professional services, consulting, legal, financial services, or B2B
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for rebuilding trust and relationships
* Confident using CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track outreach, manage leads, and report progress
* A strategic, curious, and consultative mindset—able to ask the right questions and listen deeply
* Comfortable with outreach that may not always yield immediate results; persistent, professional, and positive in tone
* Proven ability to qualify opportunities effectively
Job Responsibilities
* Reconnect with cold or inactive contacts using a mix of email, LinkedIn, phone, and other outreach methods.
* Position the firm’s value proposition effectively, reigniting interest in our services based on evolving client needs
* Assess re-engaged clients for fit, potential, and readiness using pre-defined criteria, ensuring only high-quality referrals are passed to BDMs
* Maintain accurate records of engagement, qualification stages, and progress using CRM systems
* Work closely with the Business Development Management team to hand over qualified leads with detailed briefing notes and context
* Capture and report on common reasons for disengagement, new needs, or market trends to inform broader business development strategy
* Salary aligned with your skills and expertise
* 25 days holiday allowance plus statutory public holidays
* A clear progression route to further your career
* Birthday leave
* 2 giving back days per year. We encourage our team to support the wider community by providing paid leave to work with local charities or good causes
* A hard working, fun and professional working environment
* Enhanced family friendly policies, including enhanced Maternity pay
