Role: EYFS Teaching Assistants
Location: Formby and Southport
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: Flexible days (work between 1-5 days per week)
Connex Education is seeking dedicated, energetic, and compassionate EYFS teaching assistants to support primary schools in Southport and Formby. We are seeking flexible and adaptable EYFS teaching assistants, who are willing to engage with children in a diverse range of Early Years settings.
If you are a Level 2/3 qualified teaching assistant or have recent and relevant experience working in Early Years, please get in contact today.
We also welcome candidates who are currently completing their Early Years qualifications and have experience being on placement in an EYFS setting or primary school.
About the schools:
Connex Education have a long-standing tradition of supplying staff to primary schools in Formby and Southport. As well as supplying primary schools, Connex also supply staff to private day nurseries in Formby and Southport.
We work in partnership with primary schools in the following locations:
* Formby.
* Ainsdale.
* Birkdale.
* Southport (centre)
* Churchtown.
* Banks
About the supply role:
Bookings available for EYFS candidates:
* Long-term bookings in Reception and Nursery supporting children with additional needs.
* General support placements supporting the class teacher and small groups.
* Specific 1:1 roles supporting children with special educational needs.
* Half-day bookings for additional staff requirements.
* Flexible day-to-day bookings covering sickness, courses etc.

Qualifications and requirements:
* Level 2/3 qualification or recent and relevant experience working in Early Years (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
* It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
