Teaching Assistant – Year 1
Location: Droylsden, Manchester | Full-Time (8:30am–3:30pm) | September
Teaching Personnel is working in close partnership with a large, inclusive primary school in Droylsden, Manchester. The school is currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 classroom. This position has become available due to a planned staff absence within Key Stage 1. While recent experience in Key Stage 1 is desirable, it is not essential.

About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher or a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support structured learning and help maintain a nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support delivery of lessons and learning activities, either alongside the class teacher or HLTA.
* Encourage and reinforce positive pupil behaviour and engagement.
* Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
