Role Overview
As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR functions across the employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with managers and staff to ensure an efficient, compliant, and people-first approach to human resources.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee induction processes
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance reviews
* Maintain accurate HR records and manage HR systems (e.g. HRIS)
* Support training, development, and wellbeing initiatives
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
* Contribute to building a strong, positive workplace culture
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role
* Knowledge of current UK employment law and HR best practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Experience with HR software (e.g., BrightHR, Workday, or similar) preferred
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) essential
* 3-5 years experience within the UK
