As part of our world-class, performance-focused team youll be operating extrusion machinery and making agricultural film. Working 12 hour shifts of 2 days, 2 nights and then 4 shifts off, working safely and ensuring the best quality product is produced.Key Job AccountabilitiesWorking safe in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of workReporting all hazards and act on them accordinglyHousekeeping on all extrusion lines, recycling units and packing automationMonitor of product quality and ensure all quality checks and testing is carried out in line with specificationsMonitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels against plan/targets on each lineOperate extrusion machinery and monitor and manage recycling equipment on each unitEnsure accurate data is recorded and inputted correctlyEnsure a good handover of information to the incoming operatorQualifications/RequirementsExperience in the operation of polythene extrusion equipment (advantage but not essential)Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (min 2 years experience) training will be givenGood team working and communicationPositive and pro-active attitudeBe able to work unsupervised and using own initiativeAbility to handle multiple priorities to ensure deadlines are metA full job specification is available upon request.TPBN1_UKTJ
