Were Hiring: HGV Truck / Trailer Technician
Location: Workshop-based (with occasional customer site work)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, service & repair trailers to the highest standards
* Carry out routine inspections & preventive maintenance
* Diagnose & fix mechanical, electrical & hydraulic issues
* Keep accurate service & compliance records
* Safely operate company vehicles
* Deliver excellent customer service & meet deadlines
* Always follow company health & safety policies
Qualifications & Skills
* Time-served technician or City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent)
* Strong technical experience in trailer repairs
* Welding experience (preferred)
* Compressor/Blowing equipment knowledge (a plus)
* Excellent communication & organisational skills
* Able to complete accurate documentation
* Ability to work independently & prioritise tasks
