Recruitment Hunters are recruiting a Student Recruitment Sales Manager for their HIGHER EDUCATION client based in Cambridge. This will be Homebased/OR/Hybrid for someone based commutable to Cambridge. The role requires someone who has Managed a Sales Team before in Student Recruitment for the Higher Education sector. (Really Important). The Sales Manager role is responsible for leading and managing the international and domestic student recruitment activity with an emphasis on lead conversion through consultative sales calls to students and their parents who have applied or made an enquiry about a programme of study. This role will have a specific focus on converting students applying to study a degree in a university for the UK and the EU. Key Purpose of the Role - Sales Manager - Student Recruitment (Higher Education Sector) Key Responsibilities * Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the team of 4 at UK HQ & at global offices to deliver the annual recruitment targets. Plans to extend the team in the future. * Sales Conversion: Ensure that sales enquiries, applications, and centre walk-ins are converted via focused follow-up activity by Sales team. * Marketing Collaboration: Work in partnership with Marketing to design effective recruitment campaigns through Listing sites, social media, and other platforms to generate the quantity and quality of leads required to meet targets. * Reporting and Analysis: o Create, manage, and maintain Dashboards for the team to provide visual, real-time tracking of key sales metrics. o Be responsible for generating and distributing any necessary reporting out of Connect as and when required. * Lead Nurturing: Collaborate with the Marketing team to assist with the initial set up and ongoing maintenance of Lead Nurturing Marketing journeys and Segments. * Lead Scoring: Collaborate with the Marketing team to assist with the initial set up and ongoing maintenance of the Lead Scoring models. * Technology and Tools: In liaison with the IT team, manage the set up and ongoing maintenance of key sales technologies, including Leedo, Twillio/Ciptex. * Feeder Network Development: Source and develop a global network of feeder schools in the UK and worldwide to generate a reliable pipeline of qualified student leads. * Admissions Partnership: Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure fast, efficient, and effective follow-up of student leads and applications to improve conversion rates, attain sales outcomes, and provide high standards of customer service. * Compliance and Visa Process: Work with internal and external compliance teams to manage the compliance assessments and visa preparation process for direct students. Performance Measures * Achievement of annual sales targets for recruitment of students for this firm globally, for all Students looking to study in a University as apposed to online/digitally. * Launch and effective management of at least 2 Feeder partnerships per year to maximise student recruitment numbers through in University Sales channel * Improving conversion rates through the full pipeline funnels of Let to Application to RP to Enrolled student. * Timely and accurate delivery of required Dashboards and reporting. * Successful implementation and consistent maintenance of Lead Nurturing Journeys, Segments, and Lead Scoring in collaboration with the Marketing team. * Successful implementation and stable operation of sales technologies, including Leedo, Twillio/Ciptex. * To undertake other duties not specifically stated above, which from time to time are necessary for the effective performance of the business without altering the nature or level of responsibility involved. Education and Skills - Sales Manager - Student Recruitment Education * Educated to degree level (or equivalent). (Essential) Essential * An Experienced Manager of a Sales team in a Higher Education Setting - Student Recruitment 5yearsManagement (Essential) * Experience of managing a B2C sales team, from a Higher Education firm (Essential) * Experience of using Connect, Microsoft Marketing Manager or comparable platforms. * Target-driven, determined and ambitious. * Excellent communication and consultative sales skills. * Enthusiastic and energetic, with a track record of high achievement. Desirable * Ability to speak foreign languages. * An understanding of Digital Marketing. This is a permanent and a hybrid role, in Cambridge, for candidates based in other areas of the UK, there is the possibility of a homebased option also. The basic salary will be paying up to £50,000/£51,000 DOE an Annual Bonus of around 15-20% of the basic salary Excellent Benefits.
