The Building, Property Information & Monitoring Team are looking to appoint a Local Charges Officer. You will be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the Local Land Charges Register, the processing of CON29 and CON29O searches and relevant EIR requests. You will provide excellent customer service when providing information and advice to a wide variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders (including HM Land Registry) on all Local Land Charge matters to deadlines. You will assist other team members with Local Land and Property Gazetteer maintenance and Street Naming and Numbering admin as and when required. Ideally you will have experience in this role with excellent IT skills and be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel. The ability to read and understand Ordnance Survey maps is essential to this role. This post is suitable as a job sharing position. Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
