Quality Engineer
Consortium Professional Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a well‑established manufacturing business as they look to appoint a Quality Engineer to join their Hull‑based team.

Location: Kingston Upon Hull, England, United Kingdom
£36,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical assistance to develop and maintain process control documentation
* Raise non‑conformance reports and coordinate resolution
* Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions
* Lead targeted development and improvement activities
* Plan and conduct process audits on‑site and at suppliers in the UK and potentially internationally
* Participate in and represent Quality in problem‑solving investigations
* Identify and develop improvements and cost savings internally and with suppliers
* Report on Quality performance and support the assessment of new and existing suppliers
* Ensure that Part Approval requirements are communicated to suppliers and are received, reviewed and approved in a timely manner
Key Requirements
* Relevant experience in a quality‑focused engineering or manufacturing role
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
* Audit experience (ISO9001 preferred) and a solid understanding of quality tools such as FMEA, 5 Whys, SPC, Control Plans, etc.
* UK driving licence and passport, with flexibility to travel as required
