Overview
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fostering Manager, based in Wembley with opportunities for remote work. The Fostering Manager will oversee the operations of fostering services, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting foster carers, and managing a team of social care professionals.
Responsibilities
Assess and recruit foster carers; conduct regular supervision visits; manage safeguarding protocols; ensure that the care needs of children and young people are met effectively; develop policies and fostering strategies; manage fostering placements and training programs.
Qualifications
* Leadership, team management, and organizational skills
* Knowledge of fostering regulations, safeguarding policies, and children’s welfare standards
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
* Experience in social work, fostering management, or related fields
* Relevant qualifications such as a Degree or Diploma in Social Work and registration with a recognised health or social care council
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
* Experience in policy development and problem‑solving is a plus
* Familiarity with record‑keeping and report writing
