We have an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our Esher team as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician. Your role will be to perform a range of assigned front-line maintenance/operational activities on our sewage pumping stations in the Esher, Surrey area.
This will include planned and preventative maintenance of sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.
On a day-to-day basis, you will receive your “workload” and will also be answering emergency alarms. You will be working as part of a team but may also be alone, which highlights the importance of our high health and safety standards.
The role also requires you to take part in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out-of-hours emergency standby rota, for which you receive additional payments.
Base Location - Esher - Surrey - KT10 8AU.
38 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am -3:36 pm.
What you should bring to the role as a Mechanical & Electrical Technician
1. You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems working in a “true multi-skilled” capacity. Previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship,
2. ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering is crucial.
3. Experience in maintaining, testing, installing and fault diagnosis on electrical plant equipment safely and efficiently.
4. Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
5. The work requires you to work in confined spaces with the successful completion of appropriate training.
6. A valid driving licence is essential, and all necessary equipment, such as vehicles and tools, is provided.

14. Offering base salary up to £45,000 per annum plus a standby & overtime opportunity. increasing earning by a potential £8,000 - £10,000.
