GSL Education are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join a dynamic school in Hull, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and providing essential support to staff, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities of Administration Assistant:
* Manage reception duties, including welcoming visitors and handling telephone and email enquiries.
* Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems in line with school policies.
* Support the preparation of documents, reports, and correspondence.
* Assist with organising school events, meetings, and staff schedules.
* Process invoices, orders, and other administrative paperwork.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures for all visitors and staff.
Requirements for Administration Assistant:
* Previous administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Have an updated CV(covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service(or be willing to apply for one).
