Our mission

All new medicines need to undergo clinical trials to show they’re safe and effective. But today’s clinical trial infrastructure is stuck in the past, and the cost of developing new medicines has skyrocketed as a result. Patients have to wait longer and pay more for new treatments.

Our mission is to fix this; we use software to help innovative companies run faster, more reliable, and patient-friendly clinical trials. We’re still a young company, but we’ve already had a big impact. Since founding the company in March 2021 we’ve helped run over 100 clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients, with a customer NPS of 100.

We recently raised a $55m Series B round from Balderton Capital, with support from Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp, and Visionaries.

About you

We'd like to hear from you if…

* You want to experience a high-growth, mission-driven VC funded scale up environment

* You have a basic grasp of financial principles (formal accounting experience not required for the right candidate)

* You show a genuine interest in finance with an eagerness to build your career as a Chartered Accountant

* You are curious to learn new tools and ways of working. Experience working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets) including composing and editing formulas is a plus

What you'll be responsible for:

Depending on experience level, you will be provided with extensive training to be responsible for:

Finance Operations:

* Manage supplier onboarding and supplier queries

* Assist with expense and supplier invoice processing

* Assist with the bank reconciliation process in Xero

* Assist with raising customer invoices and chasing overdue invoices

* Provide general administrative support to the Finance team

Financial Control & Compliance:

* Support month-end close processes, including receipt compliance for expenses

* Support audit preparation by maintaining organised financial records and gathering relevant documentation as needed

* Help implement and maintain financial controls and procedures

Projects & Development:

* Participate in finance process improvement initiatives

* Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting

* Support the implementation of new finance systems and tools

* Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures

* Take on increasing responsibility as you develop your skills and knowledge

Our hiring process:

* Initial conversation with Soph (Senior Talent) - 30 minutes

* Second interview with Tanja (Head of Finance) - 30 minutes

* Functional take home task, then present the completed task with Tanja, & Yuan (Finance Director) - 45 minutes

* Values interview with a Co-Founder and wider team member - 30 minutes
