The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audits from planning through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, build strong relationships, and mentor junior team members. This is an ideal role for someone looking to further develop their leadership and technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on-site audits and manage the audit process from planning to completion
* Supervise and support junior audit team members, providing feedback and training
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Prepare audit files, financial statements, and audit reports
* Liaise with managers and partners to ensure audit work is delivered on time and to a high standard
* Keep up to date with industry and regulatory changes
What We're Looking For
* ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* At least 2–3 years' experience within an accountancy practice, with audit experience essential
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (UK GAAP, FRS 102, etc.)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive, problem-solving approach with attention to detail
