A day in the life of…
As Conference & Events Porter you’ll be responsible for creating a seamless and high-quality experience for all meeting and event guests. Your main duties will include setting up conference rooms to the required standards, supporting the delivery of functions such as lunches and dinners, and ensuring all spaces are clean, organised, and well-presented.
You’ll work proactively to restock supplies, assist with service during events, and respond quickly to changing needs across the wider business. Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a flexible, can-do approach are essential for this role. Throughout your work, you’ll embody Aimbridge’s four pillars of Food and Beverage: People, Product, Guest, and Performance.
What do we need from you?
* Minimum one year experience in a hospitality setting. To be successful, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
* You’ll have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
* An ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guest, being agile in your ability to support colleagues across the hotel
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organised dining area
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
